Guitars Lessons for Kids & Teens in Amherst, MA

At Miss Leticia Music School, we offer fun, supportive music lessons designed to help young musicians build skills, creativity, and confidence. Students can choose from private lessons or small group instruction, allowing them to learn at their own pace and explore the music they love most.

Our guitar lessons offer a solid foundation for new players while encouraging creativity and personal style. Students learn:

• Basic and advanced chords

• Strumming patterns & rhythm

• Fingerpicking

• Reading tabs and chord charts

• Playing songs they know and love

• Intro to improvisation

• Songwriting and composition

Lessons are personalized so beginners feel supported and returning players continue growing with challenge and direction.

Group lessons: 

Monthly $160 — Semester: $800

Private lessons: 

30 minutes — Monthly $180 — Semester: $900

45 minutes — Monthly $220 — Semester: $1100

1 hour — Monthly $260 — Semester: $1300

Registration: We will reserve a spot for each student for the requested time and day of the week when we receive a signed registration form and either the first month’s tuition or the semester paid in full.

Agreement: Signing up for a weekly lesson in a group or private setting means that you are guaranteed that time slot for your child for the semester and pay tuition to the school. Students are expected to come to lessons at the agreed-upon time and day. 

Recitals: There are two recitals for the regular school year in January and June.
